Academic Sales Consultant – STEM

Join our global education client’s dynamic sales team as an Academic Sales Consultant. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving market share and revenue growth for the STEM portfolio within HE institutions across the North of England. Collaborating with key stakeholders the focus will be on understanding and addressing the evolving needs of instructors and learners, facilitating the transition from print to digital resources.
Responsible for accelerating market share and revenues from the STEM portfolio within UK Higher Education Institutions
Engage with lecturers, Module Leaders, Course Directors, and Heads of Departments to understand challenges and needs
Accelerate the transition from print products to digital services
Embed digital and print products into modules according to account strategy
Focus on securing high-value adoptions of resources in target modules and departments
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure products and services meet the needs of both instructors and learners
Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to execute sales strategies
Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services through feedback and insights gathered from the field.
Academic Sales Consultant: Skills/experience
Experience in a target-driven B2B sales role with a demonstrated track record of achieving results
Highly motivated and customer-focused
Educated to degree level in a STEM subject
Knowledge of working within the Higher Education sector
Aptitude for learning new technologies
Comfortable with both digital and print media
Excellent communicator with the ability to forge relationships with a range of stakeholders
Proficient in presenting to large groups of academic staff
Field based within the North of England
Willing to undertake overnight travel.
