Our client, a leading non-profit assessment provider, has a great opportunity for a Client Relations Manager to join their growing team to develop and oversee strategic relationships with Business Schools & Higher Education institutions in the UK and Ireland with the aim of expanding market share. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, the role will proactively engage key stakeholders including senior leaders in institutions, government stakeholders, relevant associations and organisations to enhance market position in the UK.

Client Relations Manager UK & Ireland: Key responsibilities

  • Executing high-touch engagement strategy with targeted institutions to position services and expertise as effective solutions to meet market demands
  • Developing strong working relationships with key decision makers and influencers at institutions including Chancellors, Heads of Admissions, Deans and Directors, as well as key stakeholders within national education institutions and accreditation organisations
  • Identifying and executing effective growth strategies within the business school market to meet or exceed market share and revenue goals
  • Working with Product Managers / Marketing teams to develop innovative sales tactics, marketing materials and ideas
  • Developing strategies to attain and improve client satisfaction; anticipates and responds to client needs
  • Participating in conferences and other business events to represent the brand and promote products. Present to diversified groups of potential and existing clients and stakeholders
  • Communicating client generated needs or higher education environmental trends that may impact the viability of new and existing products/services
  • Collaborate with the UK, EMEA and other regions and global teams and contribute to the success of common growth objectives.

Client Relations Manager UK & Ireland: Skills/experience

  • Significant experience in business development or sales
  • Comprehensive understanding of business development in the higher education sector
  • Possess understanding and knowledge of market trends and competition related to the higher education and business school landscape in the UK
  • Experience in building customer relationships and/or working in customer service or sales
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver effective responses and product solutions to clients
  • Ability to analyse data and develop key insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel availability in the UK, approximately 50%.
