DevOps Engineer – Library Technology

Our client, a growing technology company, founded by librarians for librarians with a mission to bring the power of the library to the patron is entering an exciting new phase of growth as they look to expand their solutions. They are now recruiting for a DevOps Engineer.

Reporting to the Head of Technology, the main responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer will include:

  • Providing strategic and ‘best practise’ solutions to interesting problems
  • Influencing technology choices and best practices
  • Involvement in growing and managing future team
  • Working within a cross-functional team of developers, product owners, UX/UI designer.

Successful candidates will ideally have 3+ years commercial development experience, have worked within a development team with code reviews. Experience with scaling up solutions, configuration management & orchestration, identifying use cases for Serverless and other cloud native services, creating Build pipelines, Linux administration and the ability to convey an idea, explain a problem, and discuss solutions is required.
