Digital Learning Developer

One of the UKs largest not-for-profit membership organisations is looking to appoint a Digital Learning Developer on a 12-month FTC to support in the creation of new, and help maintain existing, online learning materials using a range of media.

The Digital Learning Developer will report to and work closely with the Senior Learning Designer providing technical and creative expertise in using a CMS, developing learning assets and delivering content on the LMS. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development and maintenance of online learning programmes and resources
  • Create assets such as recording webinars and podcasts
  • LMS administration including uploading new programmes and module content
  • Enrol new learners into the LMS and assigning roles and audiences
  • Implement new plugins as needed for the LMS
  • Create digital learning content for a range of end users
  • Take design briefs from the SLD and create compelling digital experiences
  • Iterate designs, seeking feedback from the SLD, stakeholders and end users
  • Contribute to creative thinking around the use of new and existing technology
  • Stay abreast of new emerging user needs and learning technologies.

Suitable candidates will have demonstrable CMS and LMS experience with a strong interest in and aptitude for digital technologies. Experience of supporting the development of online learning resources is also required. You will need to be a self-starter with strong communication skills experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and as part of project teams.
