Our client, a leading provider of foundation programmes offering a pathway to the very best UK, European and US based Universities is recruiting a Head of Admissions. The role will manage the day to day activities of the central admissions team in order to achieve the sales targets with a high customer service standard.

Head of Admissions: Key responsibilities

 

  • The Head of Admissions will maintain and improve high levels of agent satisfaction, driving conversion outcomes through excellent customer service to agents and students
  • Provide team leadership and have management responsibility for Global Admissions team across 3 locations: UK, HK and China
  • Establish and ensure effective and efficient functioning of the team
  • Lead the development and improvement of admissions functions and processes to ensure delivery of service standards
  • Lead on process and systems set up for new centres and products
  • Build and nurture relationships with all major stakeholders and partners (both internal and external)
  • Manage Admissions resourcing and the team budget
  • Ensure the high level of engagement and job satisfaction within global Admissions teams
  • Lead on implementation of company-wide Policies and ensure Admissions are compliant with the industry standards through most up-to date Admissions Policies
  • As needed, deputise on behalf of the Director of Sales Operations internally and externally, representing the Admissions department.

Skills/experience

 

  • A proven customer service record focussed on delivering against tight deadlines and high targets
  • At least four years of direct line management experience
  • Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced admissions or student recruitment service environment
  • Experience in understanding and delivering within compliance requirements, preferably of UKVI regulations
  • Experience of working at a strategic level, preferably in a multi-national, multi-site organisation
  • A track record in building strong and effective working relationships both within and outside your own organisation
  • A decision taker who can quickly assess a range of information against compliance requirements to deliver an outcome in the best interests of the business and the customer
  • Experience in the use of CRM systems and databases
  • The ability to analyse data in order to develop strategy and processes
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience of the Microsoft Office package including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint.
