Our client is a leading independent business book publisher, producing award winning content for the academic and professional markets. Offering the latest insights, best practices, tools and techniques to navigate emerging business trends. They are now looking to recruit a Key Account Sales Manager for their online retail channel.

The Online Key Account Sales Manager role will join our clients London team and will manage the digital online retail channel (mainly Amazon) and be responsible for digital platform campaigns for a portfolio of academic and professional book products. The main focus is to improve the discoverability of products and drive conversions.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Managing the relationship with Amazon and other key digital platforms
  • Optimising title presentation on Amazon product pages – Establishing best practice rules for Amazon copy/metadata, keeping up with Amazon platform changes
  • Support authors to optimise their Amazon pages and create bespoke content to increase discoverability and conversions
  • Amazon Advertising – Building campaigns across all titles analysing and optimizing to improve ROI
  • Drive digital advertising and promotions on digital platforms
  • Creating eye-catching content to highlight key information to customers
  • Monthly KPI report. Responsible for analysing results and adjusting plans accordingly to optimize revenue
  • Create promotional campaigns in collaboration with Marketing team.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in an online retail sales role within a commercial environment. It is essential to have analytical skills and commercial acumen in order to respond to data in order to maximise ROI. Educated to degree level or equivalent this role is ideal for someone that is a proactive, detail orientated and hardworking individual with excellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and liaise with authors and team members. Experience in publishing would be desirable but is definitely not essential.
