An academic publisher, with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years, is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to manage complex email campaigns to drive submissions, usage, and awareness for key OA journal titles.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, the main responsibilities include:
- Manage email campaigns, including scheduling, copywriting, data selection, editing, proofreading, deploying, and analysis
- Build email campaigns in Dreamweaver using our existing HTML template library
- Conduct research for both copy and data selections. Input into campaign testing strategies and ensure the execution and analysis of tests inform improvements
- Complete project work as assigned
- Conduct research, analyse data, and create reports to inform marcomms strategies
- Manage a Marketing Communications Executive
- Proactively support the delivery of wider team and department goals
- Play an active role in maintaining the profile of the team within the business by identifying and fulfilling opportunities to showcase our achievements and expertise, to gain recognition for the value of our work.
Successful candidates will have experience of planning, implementing, measuring and managing complex email campaigns, and sound knowledge of HTML. Excellent communication, analytical, coaching and organisational skills along with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and expectations is required. Line management experience is not essential but is desirable.
