A leading non-profit STM association publisher of OA journals, books and digital resources is looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to devise and deliver targeted campaigns.

Reporting into the Head of Sales and Marketing the main responsibilities for the Marketing Manager will include:

Driving usage of journal articles, to raise impact and maximise renewals
Campaigns to increase uptake and usage of paid OA articles utilising analytics
Line management of the Sales & Marketing Operations Assistant
Maintaining content on website and third-party web platform
Owning relationship with key suppliers and ensuring harmonious collaboration
Publicising books portfolio and generating sales
Curating accurate and timely metadata feeds on books portfolio
Supporting parent association marketing goals
Raising awareness of key Publishing initiatives through press releases etc
Delivering agreed objectives within budget.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a scholarly journal and book publishing background with knowledge of Open Access. Significant experience in a campaign-led marketing role with knowledge of appropriate systems and technologies is required. It will also be important for candidates to be happy working in a small team, interested in adding value across the wider business.
