A leading global academic publisher with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years is looking to recruit two Product Managers to join the Product Innovation team to work on an exciting range of digital products. Key responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and delivery of a product roadmap & backlog
  • Manage the prioritisation, definition and delivery of assigned product enhancement projects
  • Develop expert knowledge on core user personas and their common user journeys drawing on data
  • Explore new enhancement concepts, effectively drawing on user research and web analytics
  • Lead the creation of user stories for enhancement projects
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the product(s), who are using them and how by analysing product usage data and conducting user research
  • Interact regularly with product customers & users to ensure full understanding of their wants, needs
  • Actively engage in emerging technologies, techniques and innovations to drive strategic business decisions.

Successful candidates will have solid experience working in Product Management, with a strong working knowledge of product management best practices and UX and UI processes. You will have excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail with an analytical mind that enjoys problem-solving. Enjoys working with people and can build strong effective relationships. You will have an interest in technology and have a good understanding of the latest trends, in particular technologies for learning and research. Confident and comfortable using a range of IT solutions such as Micosoft Office and have previous experience of Agile development and tools such as Jira, Google Analytics or equivalent. An awareness of the Academic Publishing Industry would be advantageous.
