This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bilingual senior academic to lead the development and delivery of a new International online MBA in Mandarin for one of the UK’s most progressive and successful higher education institutions.

Reporting to the Head of School, the Programme Leader will be responsible for the design and development of a new International MBA to be delivered in Mandarin and English. Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the new programme through the approval and any re-approval processes
- Assist in the recruitment of suitably qualified bilingual subject experts
- Lead the development of the online programme materials in Mandarin and English
- Ensure the new programme identifies the learning needs of students
- Drive effective pedagogic strategies which meet the diverse needs of students
- Line manage a team of lecturers providing guidance and coaching
- Manage relevant programme performance against set KPI’s
- Work with the marketing and recruitment teams to ensure that the relevant programmes are marketed appropriately.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to hold at least a Masters degree or ideally a doctorate in a relevant subject area. You will also need a growing reputation in teaching and leadership within a relevant subject. The ability to design course materials and to plan and organise the delivery and assessment of taught courses within an agreed quality framework is essential as is experience of successfully managing an MBA or other Business programme. Understanding of relevant University HEI procedures (e.g. quality and governance) is required along with Knowledge of the People’s Republic of China’s Higher Education system and regulatory framework.
