Regional Sales Manager, Medical – Nordics

Our client, a world-leading library information provider, is looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to maintain existing business and grow new revenue for their Medical portfolio in the Nordic region.
Working closely with the Sales Director and Account Manager the RSM will manage and develop business in the Nordic territory with the following key responsibilities:
Maintain existing and develop new business within Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Estonia
With Director of Sales and Account Manager determine target accounts, sales projections, pipeline and activity plans
Implement the appropriate sales process utilising internal resources including CRM software to manage activities and to maintain account information
Ensure territory objectives align with department and company objectives meeting regularly with Director of Sales to discuss progress
Work with Sales and Marketing colleagues to respond to tenders, RFPs and provide quotes
Build and maintain a high standard of rapport with potential & existing customers through regular visits when feasible
Prepare and deliver sales presentations/product demos to prospect and existing customers
Present sales projections, pipeline and activity levels at internal monthly meetings
Coordinate with marketing to plan and coordinate materials for conferences and regional specific marketing campaigns
Communicates all activities pertaining to territory, including market analysis and funding information, to management.
The successful candidate will have significant experience selling into the library markets, be fluent in English and Swedish and possess excellent interpersonal skills. A good standard of IT literacy and experience using CRM software is required. An additional Nordic language would be beneficial.
