Our client, a leading provider of online and blended learning programmes for University’s offering best in class technology, pedagogy and ongoing support services, is recruiting a Sales Operations Director for Student Recruitment. The role will manage the sales life-cycle of the direct student enrolment channel and the successful candidate will interact closely with the leadership team to define strategies and make data-driven recommendations to strengthen business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

 

  • Align and set all revenue objectives for the business
  • Develop and enhance effective KPIs to measure and maximise sales team effectiveness
  • Establish highly repeatable (and scalable) sales processes, automation and reporting methodology
  • Select and implement industry-leading sales technology and training platforms and tools
  • Utilise data and metrics to drive decisions and own the process of funnel tracking & revenue realisation end-to-end
  • Work closely with front line sales, marketing, CRM, analyst and IT functions
  • Capture qualitative feedback from sales, both successful and unsuccessful
  • Build reporting and dashboards to enable the sale organisation to make data-driven decisions
  • Own the sales enablement strategy, including sales leadership development, recruitment, onboarding, training and sales process
  • Ensure alignment of marketing and sales throughout the student enrolment journey.

Being able to analyse large datasets and translate the information into actionable insights is essential for this role. Successful candidates will have demonstrable experience in sales operations enablement, revenue operations or equivalent function with significant exposure to dispersed sales teams. You will have significant experience of financial modelling and analytical tools and have a real aptitude for qualitative and quantitative problem solving. To excel in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to communicate effectively with different audiences including senior stakeholders. Experience working within a rapidly growing environment would be desirable.
