This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading research content and technology provider who are looking to hire a field-based Sales Specialist to cover France, Italy, Benelux, Israel and The Netherlands responsible for driving sales activity for assigned product line(s), delivering specialty product value proposition in collaboration with Account Managers and providing subject-matter expertise.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the subject matter expert on specialty products, articulating the value proposition whether as a single product sale or as part of a larger portfolio
  • Focusing on new business, uncovering opportunities, creating target lists, prospects, and participating in territory planning
  • Leveraging unique relationships with influencers and decision makers to support lead generation and sales activity
  • Interfaces with the business unit, Pre-Sales Engineer and RFP team to gain support and determine ability to pursue and support RFP
  • Leading specialty product forecasting in collaboration with Specialty Product Sales Directors
  • Taking the lead in scheduling meetings with key decision makers and influencers
  • Leading product demonstrations and pre-sales technical consulting
  • Maintaining pricing ownership with direction from pricing team
  • Leading initial training for specialty products, engaging training team when appropriate.

The successful candidate will be a focused team player with a high level of enthusiasm and energy, degree educated with at least 5 years’ related experience. You will have an ability to develop a deep understanding of speciality products and clearly articulate their value proposition. You will be capable of leading demonstrations, training and presentations and proven success of technology or content sales would be highly desirable. Fluency in English, French and Italian is essential as well as a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
