An academic publisher with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years is looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst. This is a new role responsible for analysing the needs of the global finance teams to ensure the business successfully rolls out and enhances creative enterprise systems.

This exciting new opportunity combines analysis techniques, technology know-how and business domain expertise to define, design and rollout creative solutions. The key responsibilities of the role include;
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements and solution designs
- Applying best practice business analysis techniques to identify, clarify and prioritise business needs that support the overall strategy
- Ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements with technical and business audiences
- Facilitating user story sessions and requirements workshops with cross-functional stakeholder groups and the technical team
- Leading processing mapping sessions with cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Acquiring and applying new business domain and technical knowledge
- Developing successful partnership and productive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Leading or contributing to the successful delivery of complex initiatives
- Influencing and empathising with stakeholders
- Identifying process improvements
- Contributing to backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and retrospectives.
The successful candidate will be a proven Business Analyst with experience of delivering and enhancing enterprise systems. You will have excellent knowledge of finance systems and processes, IT expertise and domain knowledge, as well as experience of working on distributed agile/scrum teams. Business Analyst or Product Owner certification desirable.
