Our client, a leading global STM research publisher is looking for an Associate Publishing Manager to join their Researcher Training Solutions team. The Training Solutions Team is a newly created division with a mission to create solutions for research audiences across the world in order to enhance careers, advance learning and create an environment where researchers can achieve recognition for their success and their achievements.
You will co-ordinate the content development and delivery of a growing portfolio of Researcher Training Solutions products, supporting the Publishing Manager to achieve ambitious growth targets. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team at the heart of STM publishing.

Key responsibilities
- Support the Publishing Manager to develop, deliver and maintain the researcher training suite of products and services
- Create schedules and timelines with key project dates/milestones for on-going projects
- Support the Publishing Manager to create training materials, building appropriate modules and exercises using examples from scientific articles
- Coordinate with editorial, production, sales, advertising, sponsorship, marketing and other key internal stakeholders to ensure that key deadlines are met
- Assist the Publishing Manager in the testing and implementation of new products and services
- Work closely with Event Coordinators to provide content for existing face-to-face products
- Work with the Learning Design Manager to ensure content standards and quality
- Liaise with third parties to secure copyright permissions for all content used
- Ensure that quality of brands is maintained across all training materials as the products grow
- Work with marketing team to create product collateral.
To be considered for this role you will be passionate about the effective training of Researchers, with a good foundation in delivering publishing projects, content development and project management. This could be great opportunity for someone who has recently completed their PhD or postdoc research in natural sciences or someone who has already gained some experience in STM publishing. You will be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and hold strong data analysis skills with a keen eye for detail.
