Our client, a leading provider of online and blended learning programmes for University’s offering best in class technology, pedagogy and ongoing support services, is recruiting a Director of Operations & Partner Support.

The Director of Operations will be responsible for delivering a number of critical functions, including product development, and operational support to the Managing Director and wider divisional leaders. This role is suited to a proactive and highly organised individual who has excellent leadership and communication skills who can balance the requirements of people management and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing operational and technical risks, opportunities and associated costs; making key feasibility, design and technology project implementation decisions
  • Focus on efficiency of processes within the division to enable fast scaling
  • Evaluate new learning technology and tools as opportunities for innovation and development excellence
  • Design, implement and oversee technical processes for internal and external partners
  • Programme, progress and interface management between internal and external stakeholders
  • Direct and manage the development of best-in-class online learning
  • Managing all production aspects of web, learning, software asset creation, defining resourcing and budget requirements
  • Direct and manage a growing team.

Demonstrable examples of delivering technology/IT implementation projects successfully on time and to budget is required, ideally within the education or corporate elearning sectors with expertise in designing accessible engaging web-based courses. You will need to have up to date knowledge of online learning design and development. Previous experience with budget management is required and examples of working on complex projects with multiple stakeholders will be an advantage. If you are highly organised and have strong time management and planning skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver under pressure then you would thrive in this role.
