Our client, a growing EdTech business with a revolutionary solution, is looking for a dynamic Head of Institutional Sales to play a key role in leading its sales efforts and to drive improvements of the sales process including up-skilling the existing team.

The role reports into the CEO and co-founder of the company. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage a global sales strategy to deliver commercial growth
  • Deliver revenue growth through direct sales
  • Recruit regional sales staff and manage agents where appropriate
  • Improve the existing sales processes to a higher professional standard
  • Manage, coach and supervise the Sales team to ensure highly skilled and confident in achieving targets
  • Identify growth opportunities to maximise sales conversion
  • Work closely with Marketing & Design to create sales tools and materials to maximise lead generation
  • Contribute to the development of the product offering working with the Technology and Content team.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience of managing or holding a senior position in teams which have reached £3m+ yearly sales targets. Ideally with experience in working in institutional sales, particularly focused on selling to tertiary educational institutions. Must be proficient in all aspects of the sales funnel, from prospecting through to closing. Comfortable and confident communicating on the phone to build relationships with key contacts externally. An ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and resilient who enjoys challenges and can thrive in an environment that is fast-paced.
