Our Client, a leading and fast-growing Edtech company is looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing to lead the sales and marketing of their SaaS product offering.

Reporting to the Executive Director and as part of the senior leadership team, the main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to accelerate growth
  • Leading, directing, and developing the sales and marketing team
  • Researching, approaching and securing long term customers in HE
  • Monitoring performance of sales and marketing activities
  • Preparing reports based on key metrics for senior management
  • Conducting research to identify new markets, assessing market fit and customer needs
  • Developing and executing go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business goals.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Higher Education landscapes and trends and proven experience with operational and strategic sales and business development activities. Previous experience in sales and/or marketing within HE is essential, as is an understanding of market research methods and analysis. The ability to drive sales processes from planning to close, to articulate and demonstrate value propositions of products and services, and to position products against competitors are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience selling SaaS solutions and managing pipeline through long sales cycles will be desirable.
