Our client, a scholarly publisher, with one of the most successful track records for growth over the last ten years, is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their Researcher Marketing Team on a 13 month fixed term maternity cover.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Journals Marketing, in this role you will be using the full marketing mix with a customer centric focus to reach authors, researchers and readers around the world. The main responsibilities will include:
- Design and own the marketing strategy for a key list of the most prestigious journals
- Serve as a product marketing expert and strategic advisor to all stakeholders
- Develop future product marketing strategies
- Use creative flair to develop engaging digital campaigns
- Innovate with new digital marketing tools to develop integrated marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness to inform future strategy
- Build successful working relationships with stakeholders across the business globally
- Monitor competitor activity to feed into overall business intelligence
- Prepare and manage campaign schedules on a quarterly basis.
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to be a marketing professional with demonstrable experience of product marketing in a publishing context. A highly organized, motivated self-starter, who is creative, innovative and a natural problem solver. You will be comfortable managing projects independently and detail orientated with a high level of accuracy. To be successful in this role, you will be energised and enthusiastic, passionate about the power and influence of marketing and experimenting with new marketing tools and channels.
