Our client, one of the world’s most successful corporate e-learning SaaS platform providers, is seeking a Media Sales Development Representative EMEA & NA, to join their creative and collaborative global sales team. Working closely with the Media Sales VP and wider Media Sales team you will be responsible for generating outbound leads for sponsorship sales for the organisations content and events and in the identified target markets of EMEA & NA.

Key responsibilities

  • Developing a strong pipeline of new accounts and prospects through targeted outreach campaigns including calls, emails and social media
  • Researching using internet tools and bots (e.g. Google Alerts) and other relevant industry publications to find new prospects and competitive offerings
  • Gather prospect information and initiate the first step in identifying potentially interested parties by learning more about the company’s products and services
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to develop creative outreach strategies
  • Manage customer calls and web presentations
  • Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the company’s CRM (Salesforce)
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of the platform, technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends
  • Develop good customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/upsell opportunities.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successfully prospecting for new business and generating leads with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. You will have excellent communication skills, a working experience of CRM tools and a demonstrable ability to use the internet for researching company contacts and technology event leads. You must enjoy client outreach and building relationships. High customer empathy and objection handling skills are required.
