£35 - £40k + 10% revenue based uncapped commission (OTE of £85k) + strong benefits

Our client, an independent, open access research journals publisher, dedicated to publishing ground breaking content that highlights the changes and advances in a host of therapeutic medical sectors, is seeking an ambitious sales executive to join their growing team. This 360 sales role will focus on driving revenue from a suite of media advertising and sponsorship opportunities allowing businesses to engage with an exceptionally high number of healthcare professionals in their targeted therapy area.

Media Sales Executive: Key responsibilities

  • Developing an excellent understanding and knowledge of the industry, relevant therapeutic area, client base, market and competitors
  • Understanding and adopting the given sales methodology, with ongoing support from peers, managers and additional training
  • Focus on driving revenue through key products though high levels of proactive outbound call activity to potential clients
  • Advising clients on forthcoming product developments and special promotions
  • Effectively handing objections
  • Reviewing personal performance and meeting KPIs
  • Visiting clients and representing the company at exhibitions, events and congresses.

Media Sales Executive: Skills and Experience 

  • 2+ years B2B telesales experience
  • Ideally experience operating in a publishing, healthcare or pharma industry
  • Target/KPI driven
  • Confident making sales calls to Director level decision makers
  • Quick-thinking, positive and persuasive
  • An articulate and expressive communicator
  • Tangible ambition for career progression and to excel as a high sales achiever
  • Driven to develop personally, positively impacting professional development
  • Desire to be an expert and knowledgeable within the industry
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent qualification is desirable. 

A competitive salary of £35 – £40k is offered + 10% revenue based uncapped commission (OTE of £85k) + strong benefits.
