The Product Manager will maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in Maths, creating compelling propositions and informing market-winning product development, whilst contributing to subject strategy development and execution.
The main responsibilities of the Product Manager include:
- Maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics in Maths
- Creating compelling propositions and informing market-winning product development
- Contributing to strategy development and execution, working with the portfolio team
- Maintaining an understanding of teaching, learning and assessment, through liaison with subject stakeholders
- Providing excellent customer experience through events, at launch, and throughout the product lifecycle
- Contributing to the strategy for growth of the Qualifications portfolio in the UK/internationally
- Providing subject expertise to build subject leadership, strategy and implementation.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the education sector, ideally teaching maths, and an understanding of educational assessment, practice and policy. A strong subject understanding and experience of working effectively and credibly with subject specialist teachers are essential, as is experience developing and implementing effective, winning strategies. Experience of presenting to, training, or supporting subject specialist teachers would be an advantage, as would effective partnering with sales and marketing teams and managing internal/external stakeholders.
