Our client, one of the world’s largest education services companies, is looking for a Student Experience Manager to join their Online Programme Management team, working in partnership with leading UK Universities and Student Retention Managers in this brand-new role.

Reporting to the Head of Student Success, this role presents a significant opportunity to make an impact through driving quality, best practice and innovation across the Student Success Team. The main responsibilities include:

  • Establishing best practice (policies, engagement, communication) within University Partnerships
  • Liaising with Retention Managers to achieve functional integration with student support teams
  • Training Student Success and Retention Managers to ensure advisors are operating effectively
  • Ensuring regulatory requirements and university values and processes are met
  • Operating as the Student Success expert in UK HE policy and practice
  • Creating best practice policies and processing documents across all university partnerships
  • Being a thought-leader and champion, upskilling members of the Student Success team
  • Reviewing all communications and quality checking Student Success Advisors calls
  • Analysing student success data metrics to inform recommendations on policy and regulations
  • Working with Managers/Student Advisors to achieve annual and teaching period retention targets.

Successful candidates will have proven Higher Education Administration or Student Services work experience and ideally expertise in university regulations and policies. The ability to influence change and work effectively across teams is required, as are professional communication, presentation and organisational skills. Strong analytical skills and a track record of developing recommendations from quantitative data are essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. A working knowledge of Salesforce CRM is preferred.
