Our client, a not-for-profit, public interest organisation established to develop, high quality globally accepted standards for general purpose financial reporting, is recruiting for a Systems and Data Analyst to join its production team to be responsible for managing the typesetting of content in DITA XML. Reporting to the Head of Publishing the role will be responsible for delivering effective content management and publishing across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain content in XML and all other media formats
  • Undertake initial assessment of draft content to determine production requirements
  • Liaise with Technical and Editorial teams to ensure all content is delivered within the allocated timescales
  • Execute the publication of new or updated content
  • Complete bound volume publishing including updating and organising relevant content
  • Quality check outputs in all formats
  • Support the coaching and training of team members
  • Contribute to the development of new digital and print products
  • Identify problems and formulate solutions leading to content and output improvements.

Suitable candidates will have extensive experience of using CMS ideally Adobe Experience Manager, creating and editing content in SGML/XML. Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite, MS Word and Oxygen is required. High attention to detail and previous experience of managing multiple projects to a high quality is essential. Individuals that can work under pressure to deadlines without compromising on quality or accuracy of content output are suited to this role. Experience of working on accountancy, legal content or industry standards is preferred but not essential.
