Our client, a ground-breaking publisher of academic textbooks and digital learning resources across the STEM, Social Science and Humanities disciplines is looking to recruit a Higher Education Territory Sales Manager to join their dynamic sales team, focusing on the Benelux region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative sales professional to help shape a business division and play a pivotal role in developing future growth strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reaching or exceeding sales targets and objectives as specified each year
  • Identifying and retaining existing key adoptions and winning new business to drive growth
  • Matching print and digital products to stakeholder requirements using consultative sales methods
  • Presenting ideas and winning adoptions that will generate clear revenue
  • Identifying the best sales channel for all adoptions
  • Building relationships with senior decision makers and budget holders across universities, libraries and trade partners
  • Proactively supporting trade partners in order to maximise sales of all adoptions
  • Embedding digital adoptions, driving activations and ensuring customer satisfaction in order to retain and expand digital business
  • Keeping up to date on HE sector developments across the territory
  • Contributing to the development of overall sales growth strategy, actively supporting the Head of Sales: UK & Europe to deliver and embed this strategy.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level with fluent written and spoken English. Be comfortable selling both print and digital products and understand the specific needs of the Higher Education market in the Netherlands and Belgium. They will have a proven track record of collaborating with universities, libraries and key industry partners across the sector.
