Neil Telfer

 

Managing Director

Neil Telfer has worked in the field of executive search for over 20 years specialising in the Education, Learning and Research sectors.  He founded Telfer Partners more than a decade ago having previously successfully launched and run a global publishing division for a Cambridge based consultancy.

Neil oversees Telfer Partners Retained Executive Search services and holds an extensive global network.  He has worked with an impressive list of clients including the University of Cambridge, the Møller Institute, Imperial College Business School, Judge Business School Executive Education, Wiley, O’Reilly Media, SAGE Publishing, Oxford University Press, Eton, EBSCO, London Mathematical Society, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Institute of Physics, Royal Society of Chemistry, and London Business School.

Neil’s appointments include senior leaders based across the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

Neil is passionate about coaching, supporting individuals in their career journeys and helping clients to build exceptional teams.  He has completed the Cambridge Online Business Coaching programme and is embarking on the Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching both delivered by the Møller Institute, accredited by the Association for Coaching (AC) and endorsed by the Board for Professional and Executive Education at the University of Cambridge.

Outside of work Neil is kept busy by his three young daughters and by cycling, both for fun and in aid of various charities.
