Our client, a ground-breaking publisher of academic textbooks and digital learning resources across the STEM, Social Science and Humanities disciplines are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Executive to join their fast-paced team.

Reporting into the Marketing Manager the key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking a range of creative, tactical marketing activities across the full marketing mix to deliver the agreed plans to raise awareness, generate leads and drive usage
  • Developing detailed product knowledge for areas of responsibility to enable the confident showcasing of the USPs of products
  • Input into the marketing planning process to ensure campaigns effectively drive demand for products
  • Be proactive and tweak campaigns as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Work with the design team to produce on-brand communications, both print and online, across the full product portfolio
  • Set goals for marketing activities to provide measurability for campaigns
  • Produce reports with full analysis and recommendations to give feedback on performance of campaigns
  • Own and develop the website pages for the subject areas to ensure they are up to date, accurate and creative
  • Take responsibility for contact data growth within the lists and for individual titles as required across our core markets.

The suitable candidate for this role will have a passion for Marketing with demonstrable experience of planning and executing marketing campaigns. Comfortable with the range of tactical marketing tools, successful candidates will be confident in using the full marketing mix to drive usage and raise awareness of brands and products. Ideally an excellent communicator with strong written skills and experience in writing effective copy, you will be able to efficiently manage your workload and projects to meet timelines and agreed budgets. A degree qualification is a must and CIM or other marketing qualification would be desirable.
