Our client, a ground-breaking publisher of academic textbooks and digital learning resources across the STEM, Social Science and Humanities disciplines, has recently expanded their international Sales and Marketing operations and are looking for an innovative and proactive Marketing Manager to join their fast paced team.

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering impactful and lead generating marketing campaigns to achieve annual product sales targets
  • Developing highly creative and strategic annual marketing plans
  • Executing marketing plans, tracking performance and using Salesforce to monitor effectiveness
  • Utiliising a broad array of marketing strategies and tactics to generate awareness and keeping up to date with latest digital marketing trends
  • Owning the subject areas, developing strategies for growing data and understanding data analytics in order to report back to key stakeholders
  • Articulating product knowledge, market positioning, pricing and opportunities to the sales team
  • Bringing market and competitor insight back to the business to influence commissioning, product development and sales opportunities
  • Developing a deep understanding of our customer’s lifecycle, particularly in relation to digital product decision making, adoption, use and renewal.

 

We are looking for someone with experience of delivering successful marketing campaigns, ideally within Scholarly Publishing. The ideal candidate would be someone both creative and data driven in equal measure, able to create high levels of customer engagement resulting in qualified sales leads. You will have experience of marketing management utilising the full marketing mix, superb communication skills and experience of supporting an internationally based sales team. A degree qualification is a must and CIM or other marketing qualification would be desirable. Salesforce and Marketo experience is an advantage.
